Students arriving after 8 am must be signed in by parent/guardian

Late Arrival Procedure Update

Beginning Mon., Aug 17th, any student arriving after 8:00 AM must be accompanied into the front office and signed in by a parent or guardian. Students will no longer be able to sign themselves in.

This change is being made for the safety of our students and aligns Woolls with the arrival procedures already in place at Meyer Elem. & McDowell MS.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to make sure every student arriving on campus is safely accounted for.

Here's what you need to know for the first day of school!

ARRIVAL:
Doors open at 7:30 a.m. for students being dropped off/walking to school
Student drop-off at the East Canopy only (along Avenue Q)
Please DO NOT drop off students prior to 7:30 a.m.- staff are not on duty until 7:30 a.m.
Parents/Guardians ARE allowed to park and walk their students to class the first two days only- please do not park in the East Canopy drive as some parents will utilize this lane for drop-off
Breakfast is served in the cafeteria from 7:30-7:55 a.m.
Social Emotional lessons begin at 7:45 a.m. and instruction begins promptly at 8:00 a.m.

Car Rider Pick-Up Information:
3rd grade AND siblings: East Canopy (along Avenue Q)
4th & 5th grade: south end of Woolls (by cafeteria)
RIGHT LANE- 4th Grade LEFT LANE- 5th Grade
Dismissal bell rings at 3:25 p.m.
Need to change transportation? Call the front office at 830-426-7666

**For the first two weeks of school, fast-food/restaurant lunches may not be dropped off for students as we establish cafeteria routines and procedures. Forgotten lunch boxes may still be dropped off. Outside food drop-offs will begin August 24th.

Beginning of Year Forms

Online forms will open Friday, July 31st!

NEW and RETURNING HISD students are required to complete the Beginning of Year Online Forms each year. Students who have not completed this will not receive a schedule or find out who their Homeroom teacher is on Meet the Teacher nights or Campus Prep Days.

If your address has changed since last school year, please bring a current proof of residency to your student's campus. Enrollment cannot be completed until proof of residency has been received.
