5th graders got to participate in the 1st annual Barr Basketball Classic, hosted by Coach Barr and Coach Heyen. 3 students from each championship team got the chance to hoop it up with our very own Woolls staff! Thank you Coaches for keeping our kids active while also having fun!

Congratulations to our 3rd grade students for advancing to the first round of the Read to the Final Four challenge! Every 3rd grader will receive a book to celebrate this exciting achievement. Keep up the great reading!

We would like to give a huge shoutout to our amazing school crossing guards who show up every day-rain or shine- with a smile and a wave, keeping our students safe as they travel to and from school. Your dedication, kindness, and watchful eyes mean the world to our Woolls community.

Thank you for all that you do. We see you, we appreciate you and we are so grateful for your service!

We want to extend a huge Thank you to Hondo PD and ESD 1 Fire/EMS for their generous pizza donation! Because of your support, Woolls students with perfect attendance in February got to enjoy some pizza and extra recess. Congratulations to all the students for their dedication and commitment to showing up every day! Keep up the great work!

The G/T referral window is now open. Any parent, teacher or community member can refer a student for services. Referrals will be accepted from March 4-April 4.

There are reports around town that electric lines and limbs are down due to the strong wind.

The roof of the Masonic Lodge across the street from McDowell has roof damage.

For the safety of our students, we will not allow any student to cross the street to be picked up in that area.

In addition, 27th street will be blocked to keep vehicles from the area.

All parents will need to come down Ave Q to pick up their students.

We strongly suggest you pick your student up rather than allow them to walk home, if possible.
